Aunt NiNi showed up tonight with a gift of pet frogs! They live in their own little ecosystem complete with rocks, a bonzai plant, water and a snail to clean their place. We could use a snail around here! Finley and Brody couldn't have been more excited with their new pets. All they want to do is feed them. They only get 4 pellets twice a week so this could get interesting with the overfeeding potential! The frogs may not survive the amount of touching and moving their little ecosystem has to entertain with two 2 year olds shaking them around all the time...but we hope they do. We tried to name them...we went through lots of possibilities, Aunt NiNi likes "Frick and Frack"...they weren't having this. We tried lots of others as well, such as: Nemo and Dory, Salt and Pepper, Alec and Gloria, Mickey and Minnie and lots of other famous pairs. In the end we could only settle on "fogs" so far. So that's what we call them....
